What do we do when our kids are sick?

It began late Thursday night.  The sickness. Starting with Adelina, and passing from myself, to Jude, to Tori. Adelina is the only one of us who had a fever and the only one of us who has vomited. I can’t help but wonder if Addie had picked up a bug at her daycare that started all this. We are slowly recovering, we all have the sniffles, an overload of mucus, and slight coughs. But no more fevers. I personally can’t wait for this sickness to run its course and all of us to be well again. So, what do we do when our kids are sick? Initially, if you’re like me—now a father of a 20 month old and a 1 month old—you freak out! Especially with Adelina in the beginning. Every rash, every sniffle, any abnormalities, I over analyzed, researched, called our midwife, our pediatrician, and any family members who had recently had children. Eclipse

The name "Eclipse" has been one of meaning to Victoria and I for awhile now. It's meant to represent us coming together as a team and a family. Victoria is a Cancer sign ruled by the Moon, and I am a Leo which is ruled by the Sun, hence the title. One of our dreams is to own a multifaceted business in the future, based around our love of nature, homeopathy, energy working, and Victoria's pursuance into becoming a birthing educator, doula, and possibly one day a midwife. It seems a bit funny thinking that this blog is almost 2 years old. What I find more surprising is that I haven't written a blog post in almost the same amount of time. I had really enjoyed the time that I had spent blogging before. I loved researching, sharing, and connecting. My last post was added just before my daughter Adelina was born, she will be 2 years old in December. How time flies!
